Originally suggested by @ZachIt would be cool if you could restrict visibility of a board to certain role(s) - i.e making a private board just for our server subscribers
this feature would be great to have so community members can see the same suggestions in both places :)
Users should be able to sort by most liked/post date
Admins should be able to edit the name of the board and the url of the board on the board settings page
on the web portal give the ability to move the suggestion to other boards
Simply a flex field for new posts, say a version # that can be pre-defined as a drop down, or if you have a board for a game, with multiple modes, you could add in a drop down option to pick which mode.
Users should be able to opt-in to email notifications, such as when a post is created or when a post reaches a certain number of votes.
on the web portal it might be helpful to add categories if there are different spots your placing your feedback bot on the community
please add the feature to allow users to create single words. For example bugs , requests , games etc.
Using the /suggest command in-server preserves new lines in the embed posted in the channel, but the dashboard strips or ignores the carriage returns.
Original Message:Is there a link back to <https://votonic.app/dashboard> once you're inside a community selected there? I would expect a link in the user popup or at the top or bottom of the page, but I can't find it anywhere. Having to go dig in my bookmarks to switch communities feels weird.
We should be able to use the same markdown we're familiar with in discord in the comments and suggestions on our votonic boards.e.g. `code`**bold**etc
Is there a way to auto filter the board so it only shows certain statuses? So if we close out statuses they would default to not show? Originally suggested by meckle.
Allow moderators/admins to post internal comments in comment threads, which are only visible to other moderators/admins.
users should be allowed to upload files / attachments to comments, this is incredibly handy for bugs.
Allow community admins to pick which tags get shown there. Currently, it defaults to Planned/In Progress/Done.
Allow creation of a Votonic community without being attached to Discord. This also includes allowing users to login with other OAuth providers, like Google.
Explain how to use Votonic, especially Discord bot features.
currently it looks like all boards can only go to one channel. It'd be nice to filter them.
Send a discord notification (message on discord) when the status of a votonic post changes.e.g. when something gets marked "done"
Users should be able to upload images to their posts and comments
Community's should be able to upload their logo and change their communities favicon
Community admins should be able to ban users and delete all of their posts when doing so
Ability to drag a post from (as an example) "in progress" to "done" would be more convenient than the current process
Votonic should have an open API System that allows other programs such as JIRA to get events. Example Use Case FlowA team completes a vote in Votonic App (e.g., approve/reject a project proposal). The Votonic App sends a webhook or API event when a vote passes or reaches a threshold. An automated integration service receives this event and, using Jira's REST API, creates a new Jira issue with details about the vote—such as summary, description, and relevant metadata. The new Jira issue contains a link or reference to the original Votonic decision for auditability (e.g., vote ID, results, timestamp).Jira notifications are triggered as usual, alerting relevant team members.
Better search functionality, along with advanced filtering options.
The pencil inside the description box makes sense, but it's a link to all board settings. When the board does not display a description, it is extremely inconvenient to get to the board's settings. Instead, board settings should be clickable when you're on the board itself, even when the description is not present.
Search should support advanced search filtering, like status, date, votes, etc.
